Located inside Griffith Park in Los Angeles California, the Griffith Park and Southern Railroad features 18 1/2" gauge railroad equipment and nearly 1 mile of track. Engines at the Griffith Park & Southern Railroad include the Colonel Griffith built in 1983 by Severn Lamb Ltd. and the Stanley Diamond built by Gerry Bowden in 1993. An attactive water tank stands alongside the loading platform just a short distance from the 3 stall engine house.

During it's mile long journey the train takes passengers across bridges, past pony rides, through a tunnel,
and along an old west town before returning to the attractive Los Feliz depot.
