Restoration Activities on the Arizona & Pacific

It took nearly five years of dedicated weekend work to rebuild the gear boxes and transmission,
replace the motor, completely rewire and replumb the engine and tender and replace, reshape or
rehabilitate most of the sheet metal. Seemingly endless hours and dollars were spent recreating
parts which were missing or damaged beyond repair. The metal finishing and painting was
performed by friends at a first rate body shop in the Phoenix area.
